TOLEDO,OH -- High winds continue to buffet Northwest Ohio and the Toledo area Tuesday, leaving some boat owners stuck in the mud.
With strong winds pushing the water towards the north and east, the waters of the Maumee River have been shoved upstream, revealing a wide muddy bottom in some shallow spots on the river.
For some boaters, whose boats are docked in marinas, their craft have been left sitting on the muddy bottom.
A number of marinas on the Maumee and Ottawa River are experiencing similar conditions, as well as Harborview Yacht Club in Harborview, along the shores of Lake Erie.
