Ag futures mostly lower Friday

CHICAGO (AP) — Agriculture futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery dropped 4 cents to $5.0825 a bushel, while December corn fell 6 cents to $3.705 a bushel and soybeans for January delivery tumbled 8.25 cents to $9.6375 a bushel. December oats were unchanged at $2.5575 a bushel.

In other trading, beef and pork futures mostly dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle tumbled 1.03 cents to 85.32 cents a pound; January feeder cattle slid 1.07 cents to 96.10 cents a pound; December lean hogs dropped 0.35 cent to 56.25 cents a pound; but February pork bellies rose 1.10 cents to 85.90 cents a pound.
