Agriculture futures finish lower Thursday

CHICAGO (AP) — Agriculture futures were lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery slid 8 cents to $5.05 a bushel, while December corn sank 10 cents to $3.73 a bushel and oats for December delivery fell 3.5 cents to $2.50 a bushel. November soybeans dropped 11 cents to $9.83 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle inched up 0.08 cent to 85.65 cents a pound; November feeder cattle gained 0.45 cent to 94.6 cents a pound; December lean hogs rose 0.22 cent to 54.47 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.05 cents to 82.25 cents a pound.
