DETROIT (AP) - The left-field scoreboard from the now-demolished Tiger Stadium has a new home at Wayne State University in Detroit.

The scoreboard was installed earlier this month at the Warriors' home field. The Detroit Historical Society kept the scoreboard from the ex-home of the Detroit Tigers until it was reinstalled.

Tiger Stadium opened in 1912 as Navin Field. The Tigers left for Comerica Park after the 1999 season.

Much of Tiger Stadium was torn down last year, but a section was left standing while preservation advocates sought funds to save it. Demolition resumed in June and the last standing portion was reduced to rubble in September.

The city and the historical society salvaged more than 200 pieces of Tiger Stadium in 2007.
