TOLEDO -- It's official... the Toledo Bullfrogs will not have a season in 2010 after failing to secure a league.

NBC24 was the first to report about the team's status last week, but the team made the official announcement Thursday morning.

Toledo first learned it would become the newest franchise in the Arena Football 2 League back in September of 2008.  However, the league went bankrupt in August of this year, starting a downward spiral for the team.

The Lucas County Arena says refunds will go out to anyone who bought Bullfrogs season tickets.  Meanwhile, the arena says Bullfrogs merchandise continues to fly off the shelves.  The team's branding will be toned down at the arena, but merchandise will still be available.
