DALLAS (AP) - The Dallas Mavericks have made Ohio State center
(AP) -- B.J. Mullens the 24th pick in the NBA draft.
The Mavs came into the draft looking for backups and the
7-footer is certainly a project. He turned pro after only one year
in college, and he spent it as a backup. He averaged 8.8 points,
5.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 20.3 minutes per game.
Dallas also has the 56th pick on Thursday night, the
fifth-to-last in the second round.
