TOLEDO -- The University of Toledo is set to dedicate its new Veterans' Plaza Wednesday morning.

The ceremony will start at 11:00 a.m. This is the same time World War I ended.

It will include a flyover by members of the Air National Guard and remarks by BGSU graduate Col. David Sutherland, division chief for the Middle East region in the Directorate of Strategic Plans and Policy for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur will also speak, along with State Sens. Mark Wagoner and Teresa Fedor.

Ground was broken two months ago for the memorial in the northwest corner of Centennial Mall.
