TOLEDO, OHIO -- Police arrested a suspect who they say shot two people during an attempted robbery in North Toledo late Thursday night.
Anthony Wheatley attempted to rob a man and woman outside a carryout on Galena St. just before midnight, according to authorities. Jeff Malkowski and Brandi Rogers were shot as they tried to get away from Wheatley. Both victims were transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Wheatley was arrested and will appear in court Friday.
