TOLEDO, OH -- A Toledo man is in the Lucas County jail after police say he abducted his former girlfriend from a downtown strip club and held her hostage at his Berry St. home for several hours.
Milton E. Bratton II, 30, 948 Berry St. was booked into the Lucas County Jail Monday morning for kidnapping, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and violating a temporary restrainging order.
Police say that Bratton went to the adult entertainment club, Marilyn's on Monroe Club, to demand that his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Davis, leave the club with him. Bratton created such a disturbance that the club owner told Davis to leave with Bratton.
Bratton took Davis to his Berry St. residence where he held her at knifepoint, accused her of having an affair with another man, and demanded that she confess to the affair.
After a while, Bratton retreated to a bedroom where he fell asleep. Davis escaped and reported the abduction to police. Bratton was arrested at 6:30 a.m. and was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Monday morning.
