A Free Tax Preparation event was held at the Fifth Third Bank on Lagrange Street. The bank was booked full with working Lucas County families and individuals who were eligible to receive the Earned Income Tax Credit.
The event is designed for low to middle income workers.
There will be two more events this month.
Wednesday, February 10th volunteers will be at the Bryne-Glendale Fifth Third Bank from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.
Saturday, February 13th volunteers will be at the Swayne Field Banking Center from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Appointments for those dates have been booked but walk-ins will be welcomed.
