FREEDOM TOWNSHIP -- A San Fransisco man is dead after a car crash Sunday night in Wood County.
The Ohio Highway Patrol said 29-year-old Mahesh Pillai of Bowling Green went left of center on Route 6, east of Silverwood Road, in Freedom Township around 9:00 p.m. His car was hit by a pick-up truck driven by Wayne Pearce, 52, of Bradner.
Nilesh Pillai, 25, of San Fransisco was a passenger in the first car. He was pronounced dead at Wood County Hospital.
Mahesh Pillai's wife was taken to Wood County Hospital with minor injuries.
Pearce was not injured.
The crash is under investigation.
