HARBOR -- A security guard at the David Besse Nuclear Power Station, near Oak Harbor, accidentally shot himself in the leg Friday morning.

Jamie Arthur, a FirstEnergy employee, is said to have accidentally discharged his weapon while using the restroom, striking himself in the leg.  He was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he is now listed in fair condition.

Officials at the plant say no reactors, or any plant facilities were ever in danger during the incident.
