Here are a few of the local organizations hosting Thanksgiving meals this holiday season for those in need.
The Cherry Street Mission will provide food and fun this Thursday.
Breakfast will be served starting at 7:30 a.m.
Hot meal delivery will start at 10 a.m. at the Erie Street Market Place.
They'll serve breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and Thanksgiving dinner at 1:00 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Outreach Center on Broadway Street.
The Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission will serve two Thanksgiving meals Thursday for the hungry, or those who could use a little company.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
That's at the Mission on 1917 Jefferson Avenue.
And a Thanksgiving feast starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
This is happening at the Outreach Center at 670 Phillips Avenue.
In Ottawa County at the Woodmore High School cafeteria, a Thanksgiving dinner will be served to the needy and those who are alone on the holidays from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. It's at 633 Fremont Street in Elmore.
And the Pilgrim Church in Toledo will host its sixth annual Thanksgiving Day Community Meal from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This is at 1375 Sylvania Avenue and is free and open to the public.
