TOLEDO -- University of Toledo students protested the Stupak Amendment on Friday morning at the UT Law Center Auditorium.

Women's health has been put on the back burner after the House of Representatives voted and passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act last week.

If the Stupak Amendment is incorporated into the final health insurance reform legislation it will:

Prevent women receiving tax subsidies from using their own money to purchase private insurance that covers abortion.

Prevent woman participating in the public health insurance exchange.

Prevent low-income woman from accessing abortion entirely.

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur is a co-sponsor of the amendment.
