Findlay crimestoppers looking for purse snatcher

FINDLAY, OH -- Findlay/Hancock County Crime Stoppers and the Findlay Police are asking for the public’s help in solving two robberies.

Findlay police are investigating two robberies that occurred in the area of 1315 N. Main St. The first robbery was committed on Tuesday, November 10 at approximately 8:30 PM. The second robbery was committed on November 12 at approximately 9:15 PM.

In each case, a male approached a female, brandished a knife and demanded their purse. The subject then fled eastbound on foot after taking the purses.

The suspect is described as a thin, white mail, 5’9 – 6’0 tall. He was wearing a gray zip up hooded sweatshirt during each incident.

Persons with information about these crimes or any other crime will be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
