(Toledo)--In last week's Green Report, I showed you a new type of burial being performed in our area. The idea behind it actually dates back centuries. This week, I report on the various greener ways to be buried, from bamboo to biodegradable urns.
I used the help of Robert Scott from Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home in south Toledo to find out what kind of options are available for those who want a more natural way of being buried.
The various urns mentioned in the story will run you several hundred dollars. The biodegradable caskets are closer to one thousand dollars. Still quite a difference in comparing the cost to "regular" caskets.
