TOLEDO -- Northwest Ohio kids are in for a real treat Tuesday night as area Kroger stores offer their free "Kids Night Out" for Halloween.

Parents can bring their kids to the in-store event, featuring trick-or-treating, contests and games in each department between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

"There's no better place for parents to bring their ghosts and goblins for a safe and fun evening," said Bruce Macaulay, president, The Kroger Co., Columbus Division. "Stores will be decorated and Kroger associates dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes to entertainment our young guests."

The event is free and open to children of all ages.
