KABUL (AP) - The U.S. military says remains of an Ohio man and two other American defense contractors have been recovered from the wreckage of a U.S. Army plane that crashed two weeks ago in Afghanistan.

The reconnaissance plane had been missing since it crashed October 13 while on a routine mission in the rugged mountains of northeastern Afghanistan.

Lockheed Martin spokesman Thomas Casey confirms that the pilot, copilot and technician who died were American citizens working for the company's subcontractors.

Technician Jeff Lehner was from Ohio and previously served in the Air Force. Casey says Lehner was employed by a Nevada-based contractor called Sierra Nevada Corporation.
