LAMBERTVILLE, MI -- A Monroe County charter school is back open this Tuesday after being shut down because of a flu outbreak.

New Bedford Academy students are back in class after the school was shut down last Tuesday.

Only 18 percent of students were absent Monday.  That’s compared to 35 percent last week.  All the faculty members are back too.

A majority of the sick students had reported flu-like symptoms, but there were no confirmed cases of Swine Flu.
