More H1N1 vaccine received, priority groups expanded.
H1N1 vaccine will be given Thursday, 10/29/09 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM at Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, 635 N. Erie St. Priority groups have been expanded to: pregnant women and spouse, persons who live with or care for children 6 months and under, persons between ages 6 months through 9 years, high-risk individuals 10-24 years, persons 35-64 years old with chronic health conditions, and healthcare and emergency medical services personnel.
Those vaccinated will be injected with Thimerosol Free Flumist. There will be limited injectable on hand and will be prioritized for persons with contraindications for Flumist.
Individuals are strongly encouraged to pre-register at https://h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov/ to speed up their vaccination. Please complete and print out the registration form. Bring the form with you to the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department Point of Distribution (POD). NOTE: Pre-Registration strongly encouraged, but not mandatory.

There will be no charge for these vaccinations.
Please do not rush to be first. Recent history has shown the first two hours of a clinic are the most brisk. Wait times have become shorter as the clinic day proceeded.
- Future clinics will be held
- Injectable vaccine will be triaged for most appropriate use, as it is in a very limited supply.
- Additional Parking will be available after 5:00 p.m. in the City Employee parking lot off Constitution Avenue (behind Health Department)
- If persons are in line, vaccine will be distributed until supply is exhausted.
