Hearing this makes me angry!!! Where's the life sentence at for the mother and the boyfriend?!?!

What are we doing people? I wonder what My Great Grandparents would think of this story. They came from a world where it was shamefull to be an "UNWED" mother. Or Even my older sister. She had My nephew at 18. at that time (late 80's) it was still looked down upon to be that young and pregnant. But 10 yeas old. We, as people, are so wrapped up in our own lives that our children get swept right under the rug. We have no vaules any more. All we are passing down to our children is that is ok to degrade ourselves and eachother. This is by far one of the sickest things I have every heard. This 10 year old little girl will live with this confusion for the rest of her life. As well as the infant. We need to be taking care of our own rather then worring about whats going on in someone else's country.

All i can say is where was her mother at during this. I was Adopted 22 years ago because my birth mother was 11 when she had me and to this day all i can say is "What mother in her right mind would allow anyone to get her baby girl pregnant at such a young age". Shame on you for allowing this to happen. Things like this make the world seem like its just falling apart and no one cares anymore about what happens. I pray that the little baby grows up in a loving home where people love and care for it. The mother and her boyfriend shourl be investigated and have charges brought against them for allowing this to happen to a now 11 year old girl.

I can't believe the mother of this 10 year old didn't have the heart to help protect her daughter instead of that man. To me in this world it seems that people which deserve to have children don't have them. My heart and prayers go out to this little baby angel. But in God's eyes we need to forgive no matter how bad it seems or hurts. Which seems like the hardest thing to do. It's alot easier to hate than it is to love. God bless everyone.

where was the mother of this 10 year old child at? i hope that she is being investigated as well in this situation. she should have contacted authorities as soon as she new her daughter was pregnant to press charges

I am very proud to say that I am a social worker. I love what I do but I also experience through my clients horrible situations that should never be permitted to occur. This 10 year old needs to be protected as her baby also. Where were her parents? W

i cant belive that the mother did not know that her chid was pregnant, she knew about it but just didnt wont her man to go to jail. whats wrong with these womans out here. when you have a child thats a blessing from god. if you dont love your children give them away to someone how will love them. i dont know why god lets women have kids that dont need them and the woman that will love and take care of them and put them fist cant have children. wake up and start helping your kids. belive your children, one day you'll look up and the'll be gone. love your family. and put god first

Who ever got this 10 year old pregnant, shame on them. Very sad story. I can not imagine being 10, and being pregnant, and then giving birth. This is just a baby herself. What a shame it is to violate this little girl. I just hope that ths newborn baby is cared for by the best parents. Let this little baby be adopted by a very loving and deserving family. I pray that the 10 year old girl can get past this with lots of therapy if needed. May God watch over her.
