TOLEDO -- TPS elementary school students are feeling the pressure of standardized testing this week.
But Winterfield Venture Academy is helping them relax.
Monday 5th graders learned yoga exercises and stretches to cope with the stress of the Ohio Achievement Assessment tests.
Teachers say yoga will keep students calm during the long hours of testing.
"Its going to help them, during the test, feel empowered that they have a way to relax and stay focused because it's a long time: two and a half hours for these students to sit there," said Nicole Leonard, Winterfield 5th Grade Teacher.
The standardized tests last all week.
