TOLEDO, OHIO -- A Toledo mother was arraigned on charges of kidnapping Tuesday morning, after police say she took her two sons to assault her daughter's boyfriend.

Donna Sims, 40, is charged with kidnapping in Friday's assault of Marshawn Murphy, 18.  Police say Sims drove her two sons, Alonzo Webb and Jamarlo Hornes, to the home of her daughter, Schardez Hornes, 16.  Once at the residence, the two men, armed with a semi-automatic handgun, assaulted Murphy.

Police say Sims and her sons did not approve of Ms. Hornes' boyfriend.

Webb and Hornes have also been charged with kidnapping, along with charges of carrying a concealed weapon and receiving stolen property.  Both are being held in the Lucas County Jail on $100,000 bond each.

Sims' received a continuance for her arraignment until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.  She is free Tuesday after posting 10% of a $10,000 bond.
