SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP -- Update: Missing teen found safe.
A Sylvania family is asking for the public's help in locating their austistic son who ran away from home Tuesday night.
Malachi Mathis, 14, was last seen at his Sylvania Township home around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. His mother found a note inside the home stating that the teen had run away from home. The teen suffers from Autism.
Sylvania Township Police say a missing persons report has been filed and are asking for any assistance in finding the boy.
