The mother, Stephanie S. Rock, went to help her children and was attacked herself.

The attacks ended after the father, Steven Rock, shot and killed the dog.

Bloomdale Fire/EMS, North Baltimore EMS, the Wood County Dog Warden and the Sheriff’s Deputies were on the scene.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office and the Wood County Dog Warden are investigating the attack.  Charges are pending with the owner of the dog.
