SYLVANIA -- Construction crews accidently struck a gas line near Sylvania Northview High School, causing the closure of Sleepy Hollow Road leading to the Sleepy Hollow subdivision near the school. Olde Post Road is also closed at Monroe St.  Ten homes in the area were evacuated.

Columbia Gas crews were able to stop service to the 4 inch gas main at approximtely 3:00 PM. Sylvania officials expect to open the affected streets at approximately 4:00 PM.
