TOLEDO, OHIO -- Demi Loeser, owner of DemiTemps, will be honored as the 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year for Outstanding Achievement in Fostering Economic Recovery by the American Business Defense and Advisory Council at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C. on June 21.

DemiTemps is a privately held minority owned and operated staffing agency in Toledo, Ohio specializing in providing industrial temporaries at all skill levels.

“We believe that Ms. Loeser’s unique approach to staffing area businesses has helped companies weather the present economic difficulty, kept people working and will speed recovery in the area,” said Kim Harrington of the American Business Defense and Advisory Council.

This isn’t the first award for DemiTemps though. In 2008, the company was named among Ohio’s and the nation’s top minority businesses by diversitybusiness.com.

Loeser opened the agency in 1997. It has since grown to over $2.4 million in revenue.
