YORK TOWNSHIP -- The Sandusky County Sheriff's Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide that happened Tuesday in York Township, just west of Bellevue, authorities said.
The Bellevue Police Department tells NBC24 that the incident happened around 2 p.m. in the 2500 block of Township Road 302. The first call for help came in from a family friend
Investigators say the husband and wife both died of gunshot wounds.
The Bellevue Police and the Ohio Highway Patrol both were called in to stop traffic in the area so investigators could process the crime scene.
The identities have not been released at this time.
