HOLLAND, OHIO -- Adminstrators at Springfield Schools say telephone service to the campus is out of service Friday.

Service to Springfield High School, Springfield Middle School and Holland Elementary was lost due to construction that is taking place on the high school's campus.

Anyone who needs to contact students or staff is asked to call the district's main office at 419-867-5600.

Administrators at each school building are equipped with radios and cellular phones.  School officials say there will be no interruption to the school day at any of the three buildings.

The Springfield School district assures the public that the loss of telephone service does not present a risk to the safety of staff and students.
