Joe Wurzelbacher says he is just a 'flash in the pan'
HOLLAND, OH (AP) -- America's most famous plumber says he's flabbergasted by all the attention coming his way after the final presidential debate.
Joe Wurzelbacher said Thursday he started his day with an early morning workout and came back to his home in suburban Toledo, Ohio, to do live interviews with TV networks.
Reporters camped out by his house overnight and by midmorning there were 21 people on his driveway, holding cameras and notebooks.
Wurzelbacher said he was surprised that his name was mentioned so many times as Barack Obama and John McCain argued over tax policies during Wednesday night's debate.
"Joe the Plumber" said he thinks that Americans want to know about real issues and probably aren't all that interested in him.
