MAUMEE, OHIO (AP) -- Vice presidential candidate Joe Biden is kicking off a two-day bus tour of Ohio in suburban Toledo.

Biden will start off Wednesday in Maumee and then travel east to Wooster for an afternoon rally.

His tour is taking him across northern Ohio to areas hit hard by job losses.

Biden has been traveling the Midwest this week talking about the economy. In Michigan, he blamed the Bush administration for inaction in the face of sharp cuts in automotive jobs.

Biden will be in Canton for a rally at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday. He'll also make stops in the Akron and Youngstown areas.
