MONROE COUNTY -- Three teens are facing felony charges after reportedly making bombs and setting them off in the parking lot of a Bedford Township school this past weekend.

The 18-year-olds, two from Lambertville and one from Temperance, graduated from high school last spring and plan on entering college in the fall.

The teens allegedly made the bombs, Molotov cocktails, at home and blew them up in the parking lot of Monroe Road Elementary School late Friday night.  The explosions did cause about $500 in damage to the school.

Monroe County Sheriff's detective Tom Redmond says charges have not yet been filed but that the teens could have criminal records as a result of the pending charges.

The three also allegedly stole a pair of sunglasses from a car.

A break in the case happened when Deputy Bill Rollins pulled a car over on a traffic stop and noticed several items inside the car that were connected to the property damage case.
