TOLEDO -- A historic move in the campaign for president has a lot of viewers talking today, it was a first of it's kind moment on a political stage. We're talking about the fist gesture between Barack and Michelle Obama after Barack clinched the Democratic nomination on Wednesday.
Reuters called Wednesday night's moment a "celebratory fist bump." The New York Times, in the past, has referred to the gesture as "a closed fist high five." People who saw the Obama's bumping fists told us it looked like a cool congrats between husband and wife, and a slang website defines "the pound" as a move used when someone does something good.
This tender moment between a famous husband and wife celebrating victory, going fist to fist, started up a mystery. What do you call this? What does it mean?
So I set out to the streets of Toledo to see if anyone understands it.
In the end, I found it's a catchy move.
