TOLEDO -- Some local high school students get "black" dirt under the nails as a way to make the world a bit "greener." It's all about the 3 "P's" in this week's green report. Planning, prepping, and planting as a rain garden comes to life.
The earth is broken here. But the bond between start high school students working on this project is clearly visible. Their task...to create a rain garden behind their new school.
$12 thousand of grant money from both the non-profit agency American Rivers and the Ohio EPA helped make this possible, not to mention more than 20 types of native plants supplied by The Andersons.
