TOLEDO, OH -- Shoppers at Westfield Franklin Park Shopping Mall are seeing more than just sales. They're seeing a message from a pro-life group. The group "Foundation for Life" is renting a kiosk at the mall. The display, which they call the "Truth Booth" shows a video of a fetus developing from seven weeks till birth, using high tech four-d ultrasound.
The display is not manned.
Backers say, the video speaks for itself.
"Being unmanned will actually help people just wonder up to it," said Paige Scarlett with the Foundation for Life. "They won't feel threatened. They won't feel like there's any pressure. Any preachiness or debate that will take place. They'll debate this within their own minds."
The kiosk does not offer any information regarding abortion.
The executive director of Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio, a pro-choice group, says, she has no problem with the display as long as it's factually accurate.
