(Toledo)--NBC24 was the only station in court as a convicted child rapist saw his sentence reduced today.
Timothy Conkright was serving two life sentences in prison for raping two little girls in 2006. But an appeals court recently overturned Conkright's conviction, saying the defendant's lawyer should have fought to remove photos used to help the girls identify their molester.
Monday, Conkright was sentenced to six years in prison. However, he's already served nearly three years. That means he'll be released from prison sometime next year.
