TOLEDO -- Lining up for savings.

Dozens of people are already gathering at Black Friday hotspots.

"The one laptop we're getting is $200, original $700. So we're saving $500 on that. And the GPS one originally $200 or so and we're getting $100 for both of them," said Paul Spradling, first in line at the Best Buy on Monroe Street.

We consulted 15-year old Spradling on how you can reach the front of the line next year.

"We wanted to be number one," said Spradling. "We told everyone we were going to be number one in the line."

Spradling and his cousin have been in line since late Wednesday afternoon.

"We thought we'd come up about that time, see if there was anybody up here and there was nobody up here so we just put up our tent," said Spradling.

The hours upon hours in line have not always been easy.

"It's cold!" he said.

But Spradling and his cousin did not come unprepared.

"We've got some bottles of water in the tent, we've got some pizza, chips, all that. We've got a whole bunch of blankets and some pillows in there so that keeps us warm," said Spradling.

Others in line agree: it is about the deals but it is also about the experience.

"We're not just out here to buy stuff and get some good deals. We're out here because it's a good time and you only live once. We're pretty young so it'll be good. It's a fun time," said John Hylant & Evan Trickey, 30th in line.

But once you try it... is that enough?

Spradling just may be addicted to the deals.

"Yeah, I think I'll come back out here about next year or so," said Spradling. "And see how big the line is then. Maybe I'll be first again, who knows."

So what does this 15-year old's mother think of all this?

"My mom is at the other store," said Spradling. "So she's doing the same thing right now."

Best Buy doors open at 5:00 a.m. Friday.
