GEORGETOWN, S.C. (AP) -- A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a South Carolina man.
Multiple media outlets reported the shooting happened Sunday evening in a Georgetown apartment.
Georgetown County Coroner Kenny Johnson says the victim was 31-year-old Irone Canteen of Georgetown. Johnson says Canteen was taken to Georgetown Memorial Hospital and died just after 10 p.m.
Twenty-nine-year-old Antonio Thomas of Georgetown has been arrested and charged with murder. Thomas was being held in the Georgetown County jail. It was unclear Monday if he had an attorney.
