Taking a break from her usual Kentwood, Louisiana routine, Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted at "Rock of Ages" on Broadway in New York City last night (November 24).

Joined by her babydaddy Casey Aldridge, the "Zooey 101" actress looked to be in good spirits as she smiled for shutterbugs outside the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

And it sounds like Jamie Lynn is looking to get back into the acting game now that she's settled into her new motherhood role.

According to rumors, she'll be starring in "I Wanna Dance," a film about a teen girl who goes for her dream of becoming a professional hip-hop dancer/choreographer. It's due out in May of 2010.
