New statistics show every year, nearly 1-million high school students in the U.S. drop out. 

That’s why community leaders and students will offer their viewpoints and solutions Thursday at an education summit.  It’s happening at the University of Toledo. 

According to the Ohio Department of education, Toledo's graduation rate was 87 percent last year.
