Health care was the focus on the middle day of the weekend long Tent City Event in downtown Toledo.  Richard Langford of the Neighborhood Health Association is one of the event organizers and says participants are given seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccine shots and tested for HIV among other things.  " We bring everything all under one site and we're here for 8 hours providing services, we also have our dental mobile unit  from the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio providing dental services," Mr. Langford said.  Dr. Mark Watkins was one of four physicians volunteering his time to give checkups to participants, some of whom have not seen a doctor all year.  "A lot of our participants here have mental illness, which is a huge problem in this population, a lot of schizophrenia, mental disorders like that and we help patients get their medication," Dr. Watkins said. Tent City concludes tomorrow with a pancake breakfast from 8-10am followed by a worship service at 10:15am.    For additional information on Tent City you can go to their website TOLEDO, OHIO -- www.1matters.org.
