TOLEDO -- Toledo firefighters and police officers will begin their battle Monday morning to see which group can get the most blood donations.
The 16th annual Battle of the Badges kicks off at 7:00 a.m. at the American Red Cross Toledo Blood Donor Center located at 3510 Executive Parkway.
Blood donors will vote for their favorite department.
Anyone who gives will get a T-shirt and a coupon for free breakfast at Uncle John's Pancake House.
The friendly rivalry will continue until January 3.
