Dave Calebrese Lou Gehrig's Disease Harvey Steele
TOLEDO, OHIO -- Friends and colleagues of Northwest Ohio Knights co-owner Dave Calabrese held an auction fundraiser today at Saturn of Toledo. Calebrese is suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease. A variety of sports memorabilia were up for auction and raffles were being sold for a chance to win tickets to the upcoming college football game between Ohio State University and the University of Michigan. Harvey Steele of radio station K-100 helped arrange the auction. "We have a lot of restaurant gift certificates, we have a lot of sports memorabilia, football, hockey, NASCAR, we have salon items, really there's something for everybody," Mr.. Steele. On Sunday, November 7 at the Break room Lounge in Maumee the Northern Ohio Chapter of the ALS Association is having an event that will feature live music, chili and hotdogs. Tickets are $15. The event goes from noon-7pm. Some of the groups scheduled to perform are Nightlife, Locoweed, Bonkers and SeeAlice.
