Alzheimer's Assocation offers 24/7 helpline support

The Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, announces its help hotline will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and in 140 languages.

Indiviuals that have questions about memory loss, Alzheimer's disease, medications and treatment options, care giving tip and respite care options, or local services can call HELPLINE toll free at 1-800-272-3900.

They are also there if persons need someone to talk to for emotional support or just looking for a regular support group.

Their staff is highly trained and knowledgeable about all aspects of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. They understand that living with and caring for someone with these conditions can be overwhelming at times.

The Northwest Ohio Chapter is available to you, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for walk in consultation, however an appointment is preferred.   There are five offices located at:
