Maeve Gilchrist, harpist

Singer and harpist, Maeve Gilchrist, is credited as an innovator on the Celtic harp, fusing chromatic improvisation with the traditional folk music of her native Scotland.

“Both fascinating and absorbing in equal measure, an original voice” (Kenny Matheison, Scotsman Newspaper '08).

Gilchrist will appearing with Scottish Jazz Awards recipient, Aidan O Donnell on bass.
